Digital Coaxial Audio Cables
A digital coaxial cables are very similar to the standard phono to phono leads, digital uses 75ohm cable which enables full range digital signals to use just one single connector. The main differences between digital cables and standard cables are:
- better shielded from interference
- have a higher impedance, allowing them to handle more energy
- handles a wider range of electrical frequencies
Digital Audio will transfer PCM, Dolby Digital, DTS and SPDIF, signals and makes Digital far superior than analogue Audio connections when connecting amplifiers, Surround sound systems, TV set top boxes or Cable box.
